This all seems a bit closeminded. I had a friend who lived in Asia and had a connection in every country he did business in. Some were paid; some were free. He said, when traveling in a foreign country, you have to sample the local cuisine. In some countries, paid companionship was the norm. In others, there was an active, vibrant expat scene. Paid sex is just more transactional and direct. The supply-demand equation remains the same.
