I’m with Susansdalen. This behavior is pretty innocuous. I saved all my old letters, have a Google alert for my name, follow my quotes on the Internet, and have a blog (so do you). I’m guessing she hid some if this from you because she thought you’d be judgy, and, sure enough, you are.
