I’d like to hear you, but I’m also hearing the “Ugly American” in your tone. You’re imputing a set of mores that you say is universal, but it may not be. Imagine that instead of foreign men, you were dealing with, say, foreign tigers. You say you have a right not to be eaten, but the tiger thinks otherwise. He doesn’t know or care about your values. It’s up to you to understand that and stay out of the way of tigers.
